Guidance is provided as to how people can assess species if they wish to calibrate their performance against national and county standards.

Data collected using standard methods can be used to develop further understanding about the resources associated with the different levels of performance.

Through the standard evaluation, it is possible to present Certificates and Awards recognising solution and success regarding the protection and enhancement of species, especially those of international conservation concern.
